It’s been a busy few weeks here on the Force.com team, especially related to ISV/partner-related activities.
First, you may have noticed a new tab on the developer.force.com site that takes you to the new Force.com ISV microsite that explains the what, why and how to join the Force.com ISV program and build your SaaS company. The microsite gives you an overview of the technical and go-to-market benefits of building on Force.com and access to a weekly webinar series led by the Force.com partner team. It also highlights other entrepreneurs and ISVs that are in the program and includes best practices like “The 10 Laws of Building a Successful SaaS Company” webinar and the “7 Secrets to SaaS Startup Success” whitepaper.
Also, if you are interested in building commercial SaaS applications and looking to work with salesforce.com as a partner, I encourage you to attend our annual Partner Summit on Wednesday, Nov 5th in San Francisco. The Partner Summit is a free half-day event where you can learn more about salesforce.com partner programs and meet over 750 SaaS-savvy executives and technologists.
