The Cloud Developer Challenge is now closed! We would like to thank all that participated in the challenge! 

The Force.com team was impressed by the number of individuals all over the globe that showed interest and worked long hours to get their cloud app in by the deadline.

Looking at just a few of the submissions, it is great to see such a wide variety of use cases, innovation and creativity from the participants. I am sure this fun & educational challenge has not only exposed you to the power of Force.com, but allowed many of you to add "building apps in the cloud" to your skill set. Some of you took your very first step
developing on Force.com, while others took your existing skills to the
next level by building apps that integrated Sites, Portal and other
platforms. Love it!

We'll be spending couple of weeks reviewing all of the submissions –
and will blog and update you all in September, highlighting the top 10 cloud apps. I am sure many of you cannot wait to see who receives the Macbook, iPods touches and nanos 🙂

All of the submitters with a valid cloud app will be receiving an email from us. Last, but not least, your t-shirts will all be in the mail by next week.

If you were not able to join us this time, just wait and see what the next challenge will be 😉
