It is time to have another Developer Meetup in the Silicon Valley. PayPal was gracious enough to make their space available to the developer community for this meetup.
If you are going to be in the Silicon Valley, please join us for a developer meetup at the PayPal Headquarters in San Jose, California, on July 12, starting at 6:00 p.m. If you are new to, you will get a chance to learn and explore the platform and get a free hands-on session. For you experts, we will have 2 sessions on building
e-commerce apps and
how to use the PayPal X toolkit for As always, the salesforce.con and PayPal team of evangelists and tech experts will also be able to help you with specific questions you may have. We'll supply the food as well!

Here are some details: 
Track 1: Intro to Workshop (Bring your laptop for the lab)

those new to, this track will get you up and building apps in
the cloud in no time. The track first introduces you to the
platform and then turns it over to you to create your first cloud app
via step-by-step tutorials.

Track 2: Using the platform for e-commerce success

  • Learn how to use Visualforce
    and Sites to create e-commerce ready websites. This session
    will include demonstrations of handling URL rewriting, cookies, and
    provide case studies of organizations using Sites to
    successful run their business.
  • The
    PayPal X Toolkit for makes it easy to develop applications on that require process payments and related transactions. In
    this presentation we look at how PayPal makes payments easy on, and provide an introduction to the PayPal X Payments
    Platform, a set of Apex classes for accessing the PayPal Adaptive
    Platform APIs.
