I feel like I just hit the jackpot in the 'start your blog with a catchy title' sweepstakes! Now for the hard part – living up to the title. I'm co-presenting a session on 'Developing Android and iOS apps for Database.com' for Cloudforce New York on March 3rd and wanted to develop a cool Android app that uses the Force.com Toolkit for Android to access data stored in Force.com. Enter 'Voice enabled Chatter search on Android'.
I'll be demoing an Android app that lets you to speak a keyword/phase (say 'Acme Inc') and then displays all Chatter posts that contain that phase/word. If you're in the Tri-State area this week and haven't done so already, there is still time to sign up for Cloudforce for free. In addition to hearing Marc's keynote address, networking with fellow Force.com architects/developers and attending some great sessions, you can also sign-up for 1:1 Code Consultation sessions with Force.com experts.
For those who can't make it to Cloudforce, despair not! I'll be blogging about the voice search application in the next couple of weeks (source code and all) and so stay tuned to this channel. Here's hoping that I beat Murphy's law with my Android demo this week and hope to see some of you in the Big Apple.
