There are times when I don’t think my job can get any better. I work for an amazing company that, even after working for for four years, constantly amaze me with the continuous innovation of the salesforce platform. Today however, it somehow just got even better: I get to announce one of the best prizes we have ever given away for Developers who are attending the Free Cloudstock London Developer event on May 22nd – VIP Box tickets to the Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne tour at the O2 Arena!

So, the big question is how do I win?

The first thing you need to do is register for Cloudstock (did I already mention that it is Free!), then join us on Tuesday. (yes, you must attend Cloudstock to win!)  For developers, Cloudstock really kicks off with the general session where Rob Woollen, SVP of Platform Product Management is going to share his vision how a radical change is needed to take advantage of the huge developer opportunities that exist. We will also hear from Mike Rosenbaum, SVP of Operations, about how salesforce is leading the way in tools and programs to help you succeed. Finally, Adam Seligman, VP of Developer Marketing is going to give you an overview of the technical breakout sessions, and get hands on with the Cloudstock Developer zone.

The Cloudstock Developer zone is you get to plug in, power up, collaborate, and code. It is also where you can participate in mini-hack challenges and cloud trivia for a chance to win the Jay-Z and Kanye West tickets.

Mini-hacks, in particular, are one of my favorite parts of the DevZone. These short programing challenges are just the right mix of length (you usually complete a challenge in about 30 mins – just enough time to re-energize for the next breakout session, and recharge the battery) and complexity to get a feel for what it is like to develop with salesforce technology, without missing out on the rest of the Cloudstock experience.

If mini-hacks isn’t your thing, Dave Carroll and I will be presented Cloud Trivia in the evening where participants will also be able to win VIP tickets. Cloud Trivia is a perfect way to wrap up a full day of technology and networking with a fun pub-trivia style session in the DevZone. Grab a drink, and come ready to answer and Heroku related questions to win some amazing prizes.

Finally, the only way I could think my job could get any better is if we get even more amazing people to join salesforce. We are always looking for great talent. Why not join us now, and help create the future.
