For four gorgeous days last week (yes, the infamous SF weather actually cooperated!) Dreamforce 2012 took over downtown San Francisco. Not that I would know much about last week’s weather since I spent most of my time inside, in the Developer Zone at Moscone West. Quinton recently blogged about his top 10 moments from Dreamforce and I have to say that my own highlight reel is very similar to his.
However, the most important perspective on any event is that of the attendees, not the organizers. To that end, we thought it would be fun to host a Google+ Hangout with a couple of Dreamforce attendees and community speakers where we relive this year’s developer experience through their eyes. The Hangout will be on Wednesday, October 3rd at 9:30am PDT. We’ll hangout with Andy Boettcher (leader of the Force.com Developer User Group in Minneapolis), Jonathan Baltz (leader of the Chicago Developer User Group) and Dan Appleman (of the Advanced Apex Programming book fame) and recap their Dreamforce week. Whether or not you were able to join us for Dreamforce this year, this is a great chance to recap/relive the whole experience, from the 200+ technical sessions, to the Touch Stadium live ‘Battles’, to our first ever Unconference.
