New York City is one of my favorite cities in the world.  It’s a metropolitan city with awesome diversity in things to see, hear, and eat.  You have tall buildings that dominate the skyline, the bustling crowds and the street performers jostling for attention (and your loose change), and terrific food on every corner–Ippudo NY is to die for!  And the tech scene seems to be quite infectious!
Register for Cloudforce New York

On October 19, New York will get a little louder and crazier (in a good way) as the Cloudforce tour drops in at the Javits Center.  Cloudforce, for those that haven’t heard, is like Dreamforce to you, but packaged in a one-day free event.  Marc Benioff headlines the event and it will be the biggest cloud computing event on the East Coast.  We’re expecting over 6,000 attendees to show!

For developers, we’ll be  bringing to New York the Salesforce developer experience.  It begins with the first ever Platform Keynote at a Cloudforce where we cover what’s new and updated with Salesforce Platform.  To get a more up close experience and hands-on coding, there’s the Developer Zone.
In the Developer Zone, you’ll find an assortment of activities including:

  • technical sessions
  • hands-on workshops
  • 1:1 code consultations (sign-up in advance!)
  • and more

And as an added bonus, we’ll be giving away the new Salesforce Touch Platform guide and Dan Appleman’s Advanced Apex Programming book.

Personally, I look forward to seeing hundreds (if not, thousands) of New York area developers in person.  New York is a great tech city, and I want to see the great developer community we have there!  Don’t forget to register!

Code on,
Nick Tran
