Our Salesforce MVPs are exceptional individuals within the Salesforce community who are recognized for their leadership, knowledge, and ongoing community contributions. These people are recognized by other Trailblazer community members around the world for helping others learn and succeed. This past April, we welcomed 48 new Salesforce MVPs to this group, and 220 Salesforce MVPs exist globally.
We want to introduce you to a few Salesforce MVPs who have some great insights on how to get the most out of attending TrailheaDX (#TDX19). A few of them also share a must-see session that you may also find interesting to check out a recording of if you’re not able to attend in person. Just a few of our Salesforce MVPs with Parker Harris at TrailheaDX (#TDX18) last year
One of the most important things to do at TrailheaDX is engage with the people who are there. You’ll get a chance to hear directly from product managers, developers and others working in the ecosystem and get real information, plus you’ll probably have the chance for follow-up conversations that can offer you game-changing insight and understanding.

Come with a beginner’s mind, and allow yourself to reach out of your comfort zone and learn about something you thought was beyond your scope or ability. Take advantage of the rare in-person chance to get hands-on lessons and pick up tips and tricks straight from Salesforce product managers and some of the brightest minds in the Salesforce ecosystem. Lastly, make time for connecting with your fellow #SalesforceOhana which includes fellow attendees, Salesforce employees and Salesforce partners. All it takes is a smile and a hello to lead to friendships that will change your life and your career.

Take the time to talk to the presenters after a session. The nice thing about TrailheaDX is people are less rushed than they are at Dreamforce, so you can have some very informative discussions and get answers to pressing questions right from the product managers and developers.

Peter Churchill, Owner/President at Bridge Farm Consulting (Vienna, VA — USA)
Plan your agenda ahead of time — use the agenda builder and identify the must-see keynotes and must-attend sessions. Bookmark them and build your schedule. Having said that, don’t try to do it all — you’ll wear yourself out! Pick two to four sessions per day and spend time networking in between. Meet everyone you can — ask people about their Salesforce story and bring business cards for networking.

Follow your curiosity! Go to the session that might be new or seem more advanced. This is your chance to find the new and get started with new tools and new learning goals.
Allison Park, Solution Architect at Slalom Consulting (Chicago, IL — USA)
Define your outcomes and goals based on your area of interest and stick to the sessions aligned with your goals. Also, focus on the sessions covering the latest topics so you can get to learn directly from the product teams on its benefits and how to use them.

Go to a session that you feel is over your head. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone. You’ll be surprised what you learn!

Make the most of it. Plan ahead of time and select sessions that you want to attend. The hands-on workshops and the bootcamps are a great way to put your newly learned concepts into practice so I strongly recommend attending those. All in all, attend TDX with a mindset to learn while have you fun — and you’ll cherish the experience forever!
