The great thing about coming out to Dreamforce is meeting all the folk who work here at HQ in San Francisco. Last night I had a chat with Andrew Waite (of recent blog fame), PM of Visualforce, and he told me about a great feature: select name from ApexClass
. In other words, there is a database object called ApexClass
, which has (at least) a name field.
Why do I find this so cool? Well, I hope it will let me redesign the Setup menu for finding Apex classes! You can do the same for Visualforce pages (ApexPages
) and components (ApexComponent
). Now I have to go hack.
