ChatterChallenge-Newsletter If you missed it earlier this week, we opened up submissions for our current Developer Challenge, focused on Chatter. There's still plenty of time to develop your killer app, and you can submit an app as a team or individual. The prizes are pretty sweet — we have a lot of fun Apple products to giveaway both to our judged winners, runner-ups and for the raffle. Also, we have Force.com T-shirts to give away to the first 25 valid entries. I haven't browsed the entries we've received so far, but I'm very curious to see what you all have come up with!

Elsewhere in Chatter-land, otherwise known as the Chatter Dev Zone, our friends from Force.com Labs installed a couple of new applications in the environment for everyone to preview. Go over and play around with them, and be sure to provide any feedback you have. One is called ChatterTag and the other is the enticingly named Collaborative Intelligence. Hmm, will it make you smarter? There's one definitive way to find out!

A tip to those who are trying out Chatter for the first time in the CDZ, something I've noticed is that quite a lot of people post messages to their own wall. If you want to post a message that gets seen, post a message to the Developer Force profile wall (everyone is automatically following Developer Force) and then the entire community will be able to see it. Introduce yourself there! The CDZ is a great place to network with other devs, collaborate and get ideas.

I'll stop here, but not before telling you that I'll be highlighting submissions for the Developer Challenge each week in my summary blogs. So get your submission in soon! Remember that community voting is going to be a large part in determining winners, so network with your fellow devs and drum up support for your submission.

Have a great weekend, all!
