I have been working on updating the Force.com for Facebook Toolkit to take advantage of the new protocols and features of the Facebook Graph API. The primary difference is the use of JSON objects vs. xml snippets. One of the other areas which has been updated is authorization to Facebook now uses oAuth2 and involves gaining access to an access token before you can interrogate the Graph API. (If you want to read more about the technical details, check out the Facebook Developer site).

Good news for a dreary Friday here in Monterey is that the authorization piece is done and I am busily updating all the wrapper objects to handle JSON correctly. I wanted to share a quick video to show you what the new authorization process looks like.
