It’s that time of the year again. You can feel the excitement build. People are wondering what new goodies will be revealed this year. Time to catch up with old friends, make some new ones and get re-energized by the community. Even try an eggnog latte?

I'm not talking about Christmas of course (though that's pretty cool too I guess). It's time for Dreamforce! Its bigger and better than ever (if you can believe that) and the Force.com Dev Zone in particular will be awesome. I'll be spending a lot of time in the Dev Zone doing code consultations, manning the demo booths and in general trying to connect with the Force.com Developer community. If you run into me there, please do stop and say hello and let me know if there is any way I can help any current or aspiring Force.com Developers.

In addition to the Force.com Dev Zone, I'm also co-presenting a couple of sessions this year. <<Insert shameless plug here>>. If you're at all curious about how (or even why) to harness the power of some of the most popular social networks, check out the Leveraging Public Social Networks (Wednesday Dec 8th 12:15-1:15pm) session that I'm co-presenting with Jeff Douglas of Appirio Inc.- one of the true stalwarts of the Force.com community. We'll be doing demos and technical deep-dives into how you can create mashups between Salesforce and two of the more popular social networks – Facebook and FourSquare. You'll learn about leveraging Facebook's Social Graph, integrating location aware services like FourSquare with Salesforce and much more.

I'll also be playing a bit part in the First Look at Force.com New Technology (#7) (Thursday Dec 9th 11-12pm) session. Given that it's a first look at technology that will be announced next week, I can't share all the details now, but with cast of characters like Dave Carroll and Quinton Wall you know it's going to be good.

Now it’s time for this hamster to get back on the wheel – lot's still to do before the big show opens next week! See you all there.
