"What the heck has been happening with Force.com Explorer?" many of you have been asking. After a hiatus while we were occupied throwing those little events, Cloudstock and Dreamforce during the fall, we revisited Force.com Explorer and have a new release for you!

Visit the informational page where you can pull down the latest release. Like any Beta release, please keep in mind there are issues we already know about, but also feel free to email us with issues you find or suggestions you may have.

Just a few (but not all) of the new features implemented in this release include:

• Saving and managing logins
• UI improvements
• Management of object listings and past queries
• In-line editing of records
• Management of static resources

We're also mulling over the possibility of open-sourcing this project and soliciting community input in what features and direction to take this tool. Interested? Let us know in the comments below!
