Force.com in the Classroom – SJSU

A little late with this one, but better late than never, they say!

Dana, Nick and I spent Wednesday evening with a class of about fifty San Jose State University seniors, introducing them to Force.com via the first four tutorials of the workbook. Being MIS, rather than CS, students, they were thrilled to be able to create a simple warehouse application with zero lines of coding, and were brimming with ideas for their next assignment – their very own Force.com app. We finished the evening with Force.quiz – the picture shows the final few contestants (standing) vying to win an iPod Touch – more pics in the photo album on the Force.com Facebook page.

If you're looking to get started with Force.com, then I would definitely recommend spending a couple of hours with the workbook, and, if you'd like us to visit your Uni to present Force.com, let us know at developerforce@salesforce.com.
