Being able to easily get data in and out of Force.com has always been a defining characteristic of the platform. The endpoints that Force.com typically integrates with have however changed over time. Traditionally, Force.com integrations involved getting/sending data to/from a on-premise backend system with maybe some middleware solution mediating the data exchange.

Over the last several years however cloud platforms (Google App Engine, AWS, Microsoft Azure etc.) and cloud applications (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Workday etc.) have exploded in popularity. Consequently, the types of Force.com integrations have also evolved. While integrating with an on-premise backend system is still the predominant use case, we're seeing more and more customers integrate Force.com with other cloud services.

On Tuesday, May 24th I'll be presenting a webinar that discusses Cloud to Cloud integrations with Force.com. I'll cover some of the common patterns and tools (Apex callouts etc.) that Cloud to Cloud integrations entail and do a couple of demos and code-walkthroughs (if looking at '{', 'if', ';' is not your cup of tee, consider yourself warned!).
