Picture1 Its cool and foggy in San Francisco this week. That can only mean one thing – summer is here! And in more ways than one. The next release of Salesforce.com – Summer 11 – will start rolling out in May and June (check http://trust.salesforce.com for the exact upgrade schedule) and Dave Carroll and myself recently hosted a preview webinar that highlighted some of the cool platform features in the upcoming release. The recording of that webinar is now available and so check it out if you're interested in finding out more about the Chatter REST API, Apex REST services, Dynamic VF components, the new System.URL class and much more.

I will also be blogging over the next couple of days on the specific demos and code samples that we did during the webinar and so stay tuned to this channel for a more in-depth look at Apex REST, Dynamic VF components and the Chatter REST API.

In addition to the webinar recording, you can also check out the Summer 11 Release home page for more resources and information about the release.
