Picture1 Traditionally, when you think of integration in the context of Force.com or Salesforce.com, you think of integrating with an on-premise back-end application (ERP app, home-grown Java/.Net app etc.). However, given the tremendous growth in the cloud computing ecosystem over the last several years, more and more Force.com integrations are with another cloud application (think Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Workday, Zuora etc.) or cloud platform (think Heroku, AWS, Google App Engine etc.).

I recently hosted a webinar dedicated to the topic of Cloud to Cloud integrations with Force.com. The webinar covered some of the unique characteristics and patterns of such Cloud-to-Cloud integrations and you can watch a recording of the webinar and download the slide deck here. I will also be blogging about the code that was demoed during the webinar over the next several days and so keep your eyes (and Google Readers) tuned for that.
