Today, Google announced their OAuth 2.0 Playground, a handy, web-based tool to simplify experimentation with the OAuth 2.0 protocol and APIs that use the protocol, such as the REST API. In contrast to Apigee, which has support built in, the Google OAuth 2.0 Playground needs a little configuration. I recorded a short video to show exactly how to get the playground working with, from setup to calling the Identity Service and REST API. The video is in HD, so enjoy best in full screen, at 720p resolution!

UPDATEgreat tip in the comments from Google’s Nicolas Garnier – you can use this link to have the OAuth endpoints pre-populated. Thanks, Nicolas!
