Cloudstock is almost upon us, the doors of Moscone are due to crack open at 7:30AM Thursday morning for this day long, completely free, content packed event. Are you prepared? Check these items off your list to make sure:

1. Register

You’ll need this one just to get into the door: if you haven’t registered – register now.  It’s not too late (at least, not at the time of this writing), but you can’t get a badge unless you register.  And yes, you do need your badges.

2. Plan your agenda ahead of time

This day is going to go really fast, and if you don’t plan what you want to see ahead of time, you might miss out.  Check out the full schedule of events, including breakout, community and partner sessions.  The tools you need to develop your social enterprise are here – don’t get caught by surprise by the session you needed after the doors for the room have closed.

3. Hands On? Bring your laptop

For the first time, we’re bring our popular Hands On Training sessions from Dreamforce to a day long event like Cloudstock.  Unlike Dreamforce, though, we won’t be able to supply hardware for everyone to use – so if you are planning on attending one of these, be sure to bring a laptop so that you can work through the exercises.

4. Check your gear

Business cards?  Water bottle?  Fasionable outerwear?  Comfortable shoes?  Granola bar?  Breath mints (not implying anything there – just always handy).  There will certainly be plenty of swag, so at the very least make sure you’ve got a bag available to hold a swath of shirts, workbooks and cheat sheets.  We’ve updated most of our content since the last Dreamforce, so it will be a great time to get your hands on some of the latest printed materials.

Other things to know:

Know trivia?  Win prizes.  Quinton recently posted all you need to know about winning great prizes by showing your great knowledge of Force.com trivia, so if you’re game head over to the big screen at the DevZone at 6:45 and use that big brain of yours to score some superior swag.

We’re doing Mini-Hacks for the Hackathon.  For Cloudstock we are breaking our normal Hackathon into multiple distinct challenges.  Developers looking to step up to the task should report in to Hackathon HQ at Cloudstock when they’ve arrived to get their missions, should they choose to accept it. Prizes for completing Mini Hacks include Rokus, Amazon Gift Cards, Twilio Merit Badges, and we’re also raffling a MacBook Pro to participants.
