Marc Benioff! Sir Richard Branson! Colin Powell! Tony Robbins! Red Hot Chili Peppers! Hard to believe last week’s Dreamforce fun is all just a distant memory now. Or wait, was it all a dream… ?
As many of you may “totally recall”, thousands upon thousands — ok, about 90,000 to be (somewhat) exact — descended upon San Francisco’s Moscone and Civic Centers to witness incredible presentations and performances from the aforementioned figures, as well as countless others. Somewhere within the masses were 87 starry-eyed students who came from various universities to partake in the Cloud U. “DF12 scholarship” program. The students had a jam-packed week of activities which included:
- Mini-hacks, Breakout Sessions, Hands-on Workshops at the Developer Zone
- Volunteer activities with the Red Cross
- Tweet competition and prizes
- And of course, attending the signature keynotes, product keynotes, and concerts which made hands raise and jaws drop
