Our Mobile Developer Challenge is in full swing, and we’ve had a great response! I’ve been able to get a sneak peek at the submissions and no surprise, our community is wicked smart and there are some awesome entries! Along with those entries, we’ve also had several requests for just a …bit… more… time. Because mobile development is so important, we wanted to give the extra time to those of you needing it. We’ve extended the deadline for contest submissions until Monday, June 10th – a week more for you to wrap up your app and complete your submission.

We hear time and again from customers that they want mobile apps to use in their business. Mobile apps make it easy to connect with customers and employees, allow businesses to easily gather feedback and information, and take orders. Mobile devices are so commonplace today most of us have at least two; they are changing the way we work, socialize, travel, and even grocery shop. This opens up a huge new opportunity for developers; yet the market hasn’t yet reached full potential. With the new Salesforce Mobile Services you can easily build that mobile app you’ve been thinking of. What company wouldn’t love to see what you developed that would help them succeed?
