What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think about the Dreamforce Developer Zone?  If you have been before, this might conjure up an image of a massive yet intimate developer playground with hands-on code, sessions, demos, hacks, games, more code–plus a sea of fellow hackers, makers, tinkerers, futurists, visionaries, entrepreneurs, and so on.

Now, try to imagine this even bigger with more exciting ways to get hands-on and explore the latest Salesforce Platform innovations.  Come get inspiration from–and collaborate with like-minded technologists while shaping the vision for the future of cloud technology. Whether you are new to Dreamforce or a Moscone veteran, we are on a mission to wow you!

Here’s a sneak peak at what we have planned for you in November:

1) KILLER TECHNICAL SESSIONS – With over 300+ sessions and hands-on workshops covering the breadth of our Platform technology, your challenge will be more about prioritizing the best sessions for you.

2) MOBILE. MOBILE. MOBILE. – Tons of opportunities via hands-on workshops, dedicated sessions, sample code, and experts to help you to build mobile apps for today.

3) DEEPER CONSULTATION EXPERIENCE – We are doubling down on the code consultations that everyone loves and adding UX experts to ensure you get the help you need designing, architecting and coding your app.

4) HACKS ALL DAY, EVERY DAY – We’ve expanded the mini hacks with more challenges and bigger prizes.

5) COMMUNITY NETWORKING GALORE – Look out for a dedicated community space where you can connect with MVPs, user group leaders, and participate in community-driven talks.

What else?  Of course, we are saving some surprises for once you are there. Come find out what awaits you and be sure to register for Dreamforce ‘13 at a special developer discount price of $799 (promo code D13DVLPR).

Love the point #2 – MOBILE. MOBILE. MOBILE. Would there be a dedicated Touch Stadium this time around as well? It was a huge hit last year so I’m hoping that’s in store for DF’13 as well.

The platform keynote is a can’t-miss. Seeing where things are headed over the next 6-12 months is important for when you get home from Dreamforce and need to update your Salesforce roadmap for the coming year.
