There are some exciting changes coming to the Developer Discussion Boards this week, but first we’re going to need to ask your patience for a bit as we freeze our existing boards and ready migration to the new site. Beginning at 5pm PST on Wednesday, December 18th, we’ll freeze the discussion boards and no new posting will be possible. You’ll still be able to review the existing content as needed, but no user will be able to post new topics or respond to existing topics. During this freeze we encourage you to check out the Salesforce StackExchange or post on twitter with the #askforce hash tag, which many of our developer evangelists and MVPs monitor.

Excited and we (devs, admins, ba’s etc) have been eagerly waiting to have a shift to a forum that’s easy to use, search, comment, rate etc

I received emails (subject: Welcome to Developer Site; From: SDN

Is this related to the upgrade and should I be following these links through? It leads me to a log in page on a Site (subdomain name: dfc-org-qa).

I have received the same email.Don’t know if it’s a Spam or what?

I think it might be their test/sandbox org for the new discussion boards. If it’s a sandbox, they most likely pulled over the user records which might have emailed us in the process. If that’s the case, it was probably an accident. Still won’t log in in case it is some very sneaky and cleverly devised phishing attempt.

I also experienced the same. Confused what’s going on.

      Thanks, Madhura
