The line was out the door. Yesterday, close to 90 developers from the Los Angeles area, San Francisco and even an attendee from last week’s event in New York joined us at the Salesforce Summer of Hacks at The Hub LA.  Developers were ready and eager to register and pick up their badges. Some brought pillows, sleeping bags, beer and even a turn-table and amp! As the crowd settled we quickly moved into dinner and opening ceremonies.

We opened the stage for almost 30 amazing idea pitches. Some were thought provoking and others made us laugh in amusement. Soon after teams and friendships started to form as coding kicked-off well into the evening.

Day two started off with healthy dose of breakfast and coding. Our Developer Workshop was very popular and well attended. Thank you to Quinton Wall and Samantha Ready for leading the course. After some awesome made-to-order tacos for lunch the groups went back to developing with a full tank of gas.

Check back tomorrow for the results and winners of Summer of Hacks LA!
