The Lightning Experience is the re-imagined user interface for Salesforce packed with new features developers and admins can use to help their businesses sell faster, work more productively, and make better decisions. We’re excited to come to a city near you to show what it can do for your organization. This two-day workshop will give you everything you need to immediately take advantage of this exciting new technology.

You’ll walk away with hands-on experience migrating an existing Classic application to Lightning. Our Lightning experts will walk you through initial setup, show you how to customize Lightning pages, share strategies for using Visualforce in Lightning, and help you learn how to build Lightning Components for exactly what you need.

Day 1: We’ll give you an overview of the Lightning Experience, show you some highlights, and review the great features coming on the roadmap for Sales, Service, Chatter, and Analytics. We’ll also show you the great customization capabilities of Lightning and review various implementation considerations.

Day 2: We’ll dive more deeply into configuration and development with a hands-on workshop. It will enable you to get skilled up by enabling Lightning, Lightning customization, how to use Visualforce in Lightning and how to build your own Lightning Components. You will need your own charger and laptop (running OS X or Windows).
