One of the exciting new Force.com features that you will hear about at this year’s Dreamforce is Force.com Canvas. Many of the keynotes and breakout sessions explore some of the ways this new feature can help expand your salesforce.com footprint.

When we started thinking about what some of the challenges that current customers have with their current business apps, it became apparent that there were a couple of needs: taking existing applications and wiring them into salesforce and developing new applications to work with salesforce.com.

Force.com Canvas Pillars

Enter Force.com Canvas.  With our new framework (which includes a JavaScript SDK, Force.com Connected Apps Authentication, Cross Domain XHR handling, and more) you can easily take your existing web application, surface it inside of the salesforce UI, and allow it to communicate with your data through the Force.com Platform.  Now, you can quickly build out your users’ application center using salesforce.com as the delivery system … regardless of the programming language your developers choose to build in.

We will have a number of ways you can learn about and work with Force.com Canvas during Dreamforce 12.  Come learn about the Force.com Canvas basics and see what some of our partners (like Concur, MuleSoft, Taulia, and others) have been able to do with Force.com Canvas over the last 6 week at one of our Introduction Sessions:
