Now that Dreamforce 2008 is over, the Developer Force team are back out on the road and currently in Tel Aviv, Israel for the IGT 2008 World Summit of Cloud Computing. In addition to exhibiting at the event, the team delivered a keynote presentation and a hands-on workshop. Jon Mountjoy – community manager and editor-in-chief at Developer Force – presented "Cloud Computing in Practice: Fast Application Development and Delivery on Force.com" whilst the Force.com Workshop provided attendees the chance to walk through the Force.com Workbook and get started with the platform.

In addition to Jon's session, Amazon presented a great introduction to Amazon Web Services – which Force.com plays nicely with thanks to the Force.com for Amazon Web Services toolkit – and there are more great sessions to come.
