We’re getting pumped for the 11th annual Dreamforce in November. Before we look ahead, let’s take a moment to reflect on the pretty awesome rise of this event over the last decade. Check out our new Dreamforce infographic…1300->120,000 registered, 50->300+ partners in the Cloud Expo, amazing keynotes and bands, amazing growth. And a ton of inspiration and shared success over the years.

In just 16 weeks, the Dreamforce community will take over the Bay Area again. We have a ton of great stuff in store for partners, but it’s up to you to make the most of this experience. There will be a lot of Dreamforce information coming your way in the next few weeks. Here are a few things you should be thinking about now:

  1. Get registered and secure your hotel space early. There are still rooms in San Francisco, but the good ones go quickly.
  2. Bring as many teammates as possible. There’s no better way to get them immersed in the culture and inspired to succeed than 4 days of learning from the experts, interacting with the salesforce.com community, and having the experience of a lifetime.
  3. Consider sponsorship to get in on the Cloud Expo action. Make sure you have a home base on the huge Dreamforce Campus for prospects, customers, salesforce.com employees, and industry influencers to find you. Dreamforce  sponsorship makes the year for many smart partners.
  4. Let your customers and prospects know you’ll be attending. And encourage them to join you. Make a plan for how you’ll interact with customers and prospects before, within and beyond the event. This is a great chance to add value and gain mindshare while everyone’s excited and inspired.
  5. Schedule as many meetings as possible, in advance. With so many decision makers all in one place, this is an incredibly efficient way to advance opportunities and get deals done.
  6. Contribute to the conversation. The social conversation around Dreamforce (#df13) is a rising tide. Be really thoughtful about how you can contribute or curate to help your followers get the most out of the dialogue.

What else? More than half of you reading this are Dreamforce veterans. What lessons would you share? What would you prioritize at this stage?
