Custom Icons

enum class AgentforceIconType

Enumerates every icon slot in the full-UI chat experience that you can replace, and pairs with AgentforceIcon to carry your replacement image(s).

Declared in package com.salesforce.android.agentforcesdk.components.theme.

Supply a single painter to use in both light and dark mode, or separate light and dark painters for icons that need different artwork per mode.

Map an AgentforceIconType to an AgentforceIcon in AgentforceThemeOverrides:

The enum covers 23 replaceable icons. These are the slots referenced elsewhere in the theming docs:

MemberCovers
ActionSendThe send-message button icon.
StatusErrorThe inline chat-error status icon.
AiAgentThe agent’s avatar icon.

This is not the complete list. Get the full AgentforceIconType enum and each slot’s default drawable from the Android team before publishing.

Many icons are recolored by the SDK using a color token, so the drawable you supply should usually be a single-color glyph. If you want your icon to render in its own colors instead of being tinted, set the icon’s tint color token to Color.Unspecified (see AgentforceColors). Each AgentforceIconType value documents whether it’s tinted and which token drives the tint.
