# acos({n})

Returns the arccosine value of radians value `{n}`. `{n}` can be any real number in the range of -1 <= `{n}` <= 1. If `null` is passed as an argument, `acos()` returns `null`.

`acos({n})` takes the following syntax.

```nolang
SELECT ACOS(N) as ALIAS
FROM DATASET;
```

## Example

This example takes the arccosine of 35 degrees.

```nolang
SELECT ACOS(RADIANS(90)) as acosValue
FROM "Opportunity"
LIMIT 1;
```

acosValue
---------
0.913643
