The Marketplace Integration Toolkit is a reference application that you can use to sync data between B2C Commerce and Commerce Marketplace. To start the setup process, see the Initial Setup guide.
We offer a series of cartridges to help developers build their integrations. Each one is responsible for a new service or component that can be added to the storefront. These cartridges can be added to any storefront based on the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
- Plugin (
plugin_marketplace_storefront) Customizes the front end. Controls all interactive and visual features, including controllers, templates, and more. Doesn’t process back-end functions.
- Int (
int_marketplace) A required cartridge used mostly in the backend for creating requests to the middleware.
- Buybox (
plugin_marketplace_buybox) Shows different seller offers in a Product Display Page.
- Checkout (
plugin_marketplace_checkout) Splits the cart and the order per seller and allows customers to finish their order. Customers can insert their address, select the better shipping method per seller, review all products added to the cart grouped by sellers and also insert the payment information.

While using Commerce Marketplace, you’ll see occasional references to Atonit, which was the name of the company that originally developed these technologies. Atonit was acquired by Salesforce in 2022, and we’re still in the process of rebranding.
