Let Users Opt Out of Checkout Notifications
Add a checkbox to let users choose whether to receive checkout notifications.

From Setup, in the Quick Find Box, enter
Object Manager
, and select User. -
Select Fields and Relationships, and click New.

For Data Type, select Checkbox.

Under Field Label, enter
Checkout Notifications
. -
Select the default value.
If you select Checked, users are automatically opted in to checkout notifications. They can choose to opt out by deselecting the box.

For Field Name, enter
Checkout_Notifications
, and click Next. -
Choose which profiles see the field, and click Next.
We suggest choosing the buyer user profiles.

Add the field to the User Profile Layout.

Click Save.
