Quip Card (Beta)

Displays a list of Quip files. For Aura components only.

lightning:quipCard is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

A lightning:quipCard component displays a list of Quip files that have been attached to a particular record. Clicking on any list item opens the respective Quip file in a new tab.

The card supports 3 actions to attach Quip files:

  • Search for an existing Quip file.
  • Create a new Quip document.
  • Create a new Quip spreadsheet.

Here's an example of a Quip card. The parentRecordId value must be a valid 15 character Salesforce record ID.
