# Business Process Definition DMO

When a new lifecycle stage is defined (Eg: Lead Conversion) CustomerProcessDefinition entity is created and the Name of the stage is stored in the entity. Also note multiple stages can be defined inside a lifecycle map and each stage is independent of each other.
