Set Up a Demandbase Connection
Create a Demandbase Data Stream by Using a Data Kit
Create a Demandbase Data Stream Manually
MuleSoft Anypoint Connector for Salesforce Data 360
After you set up a Demandbase connection, you can create a data stream to start the flow of data from your Demandbase source to Data 360. Using the Demandbase Data Kit to configure the data stream is recommended, but not required.
Before creating a data stream, make sure that an SFTP connection is set up. See Set Up an SFTP Connection.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Import from Directory | (Optional) Remaining folder path under the parent directory that points to a file’s specific location. Note: If you leave this field empty, the stream will use the parent directory (configured in the connection) as the extract/ingest path. |
| File Name | To retrieve all the CSV files, select *.csv as the file name. The file name supports wildcards and CSV file formats. For example, you can use abc.csv to retrieve all file names containing “abc.” Each time the stream runs, all files that match the name, including wildcards, are imported. |
| Source | The external system where data is sourced. Multiple data streams can have the same source. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Category | Identify the type of data in the data stream. If you’re creating a company or contact data stream, select Profile. If you’re creating an intent data stream, select Engagement. In the Event Time Field, select start_date. If you’re creating any other data stream, select Other. |
| Primary Key | To identify a record, select record_id. |
| Record Modified Field | If data is received out of order, the system uses the record modified field as a reference point to decide whether to update the record. The record with the most up-to-date timestamp is loaded. |
| Organization Unit Identifier | Select the business unit to use for a record’s data lineage. |
