Set Up an Apache CouchDB Connection (Beta)
Set up the Apache CouchDB connection to start the flow of data into Data Cloud.
This feature is a Beta Service. A customer may opt to try a Beta Service in its sole discretion. To create a connection: | Data Cloud admin OR Data Cloud Marketing admin |
Before you begin:
- Enable the Beta connector through the feature manager. See Enable Data Cloud Features.
- Verify your admin has enabled firewalls on the system you want Data Cloud to connect to by including these IP addresses to your allowlists.

In Data Cloud, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.

Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.

Click New.

On the Source tab, select Apache CouchDB and click Next.

Enter a connection name, connection API name (auto-populated), and provide the authentication and connection details.

For Authentication, enter the Apache CouchDB username and password to authenticate the user.
- For the SSL Server Certificate, enter the whole SSL certificate string, an SHA-1 certificate string, or upload the string as a .pem file.

For Connection, provide the URL in one of these formats.
An IP address format like 62.248.98.34 or a cloud Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for your Virtual Machine, for example, 62.248.93.34.bc.googleusercontent.com.
The URL doesn't start with https://.

To review your configuration, click Test Connection.

Click Save.
After the connector details are accepted, the connection is created and listed under Connectors. You can now create data streams.
