Industry Integrations

Salesforce provides integration apps that are out-of-the-box integration templates with pre-built transformations that can be used to integrate Health Cloud with external systems. These integration apps are available in MuleSoft Exchange:

The Prior Authorization EMR Retrieval integration app helps provider systems, such as Salesforce Health Cloud, to automatically retrieve all the relevant datasets from the EMR to prepare a Da Vinci (an HL7 FHIR accelerator) aligned prior authorization request.
To know more about the integration app, see MuleSoft Exchange.

The Prior Authorization Claim Submission integration app helps provider systems, such as Salesforce Health Cloud, to send a Da Vinci (an HL7 FHIR accelerator) aligned prior authorization request to a clearing house or a payer endpoint. It handles the submission of the request and inquiry about the request status.
To know more about the integration app, see MuleSoft Exchange.

The FHIR Server Integration app enables Salesforce Health Cloud to integrate with any FHIR server.
To know more about the integration app, see MuleSoft Exchange.

After enabling the integration app, you can interact with any FHIR server using the automatically created named credentials "Health_generic_system_app" in your Salesforce org. For example, to search a Patient, use <named credentials>/Patient?given=Camila&family=Lopez.

In addition the FHIR Server Integration app provides an API endpoint "/api/fetchBundle" that fetches multiple FHIR resources based on search parameters in one bundle collection.

Use Industry Integration Solutions in your Salesforce org to connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances and to automate the deployment of the integration apps. After deploying the app in your MuleSoft instance, you can extend the app in MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform to complete your business needs.
