Handlebars Helper Function: guid

Generates a 128-bit hexadecimal globally unique identifier (GUID).

This helper is available in the Winter ’27 release of Marketing Cloud Next.

This helper doesn’t accept any parameters. If you pass parameters, they’re ignored.

The function returns a GUID, such as c4642f98-8d01-44da-b075-8e6c6a4c17c2.

This example generates a GUID.
