Configure Your Marketing Cloud Growth Org

To get started, install and deploy data and configure your users.

To use Marketing Cloud Growth, you must first deploy data kits in Data Cloud. An administrator can deploy these data kits in the Salesforce web app. See Preparing Your Marketing Cloud Growth Org.

Create accounts for each marketing user, and apply the permissions they require to do their job. We recommend that you use one of these permission sets.

Marketing Cloud Admin

This permission set provides access to most tasks in Salesforce Setup and full control on campaigns, segments, and flows.

Marketing Cloud Manager

This permission set gives full control to manage campaigns, segments, and campaign (non-admin) flows.

To complete setup, your org needs a Data Cloud admin to install data kits, deploy data streams, and configure identity resolution rules. For more information about creating Data Cloud admins, see Data Cloud Standard Permission Sets.

API users use standard Salesforce accounts. Access to Salesforce APIs is managed using Connected Apps. See Manage Access to a Connected App.
