If you aren’t familiar with development tools and processes on the Salesforce Platform, there are several helpful learning resources available on Trailhead.

If you’re new to developing on the Salesforce Platform, you can build a solid foundation by completing these modules.

Quick Start: Connect Postman to Salesforce: Postman is a tool used by developers, testers, and just about everybody else who interacts with REST-based APIs. In this module, you download and configure a Postman collection that makes it easy to experiment with the Salesforce Platform REST API and Bulk API.
Quick Start: Visual Studio Code for Salesforce Development: Set up VS Code as a Salesforce development environment.
Platform API Basics: Start out with a tour of the Salesforce Platform APIs, and then learn how to use tools including Postman and SoapAPI to issue your first API requests.

After you complete the basics, it’s time to build on your skills. By completing these modules, you broaden your understanding of important Salesforce Platform development concepts.

Object-Oriented Programming for Admins: Enhance your Salesforce data with Apex classes, objects, data manipulation language (DML), sets, and loops.
SOQL for Admins: Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) is a query language used to retrieve data from a Salesforce database. In this module, you learn about the components and syntax of a SOQL query. You also create and run your first SOQL query.

Marketing Cloud Next is tightly integrated with Data 360, so it’s important to understand how Data 360 works as you plan and configure your org.

Data 360-Powered Experiences: This introduction explains how you can use Data 360 to create personalized, real-time experiences across Salesforce and beyond.
Customer 360 Data Model for Data 360: Understand the data model for Data 360, and learn how to create data model objects (DMOs).
