# Install the Canvas App

Uploading the packaged canvas app creates the installation link. You can then use this link to install the canvas app in another org.

Beta packages can be installed only in sandbox or Developer Edition orgs, otherwise, you receive an error.

This task assumes that you completed the steps at [Upload the Canvas Connected App Package](/docs/platform/canvas-framework/guide/quick-start-publish-canvas-app.md).

1. Open a browser and enter the canvas app installation URL in the browser address bar. If you’re in the process of developing your canvas app, be sure to log out of your development org before you install the app.

   The installation URL looks something like: `https://login.{instance}.salesforce.com/services/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04eU0000000AWNA`.

2. When prompted, enter your login credentials for the org in which you’re installing the package.

3. The Package Installation Details page appears. In the Package Components list, you should see the Hello World canvas app. Click **Continue**.

4. Click **Next** and then click **Install**.

After the package installation completes successfully, you receive an email notification.
