## How Do I Enable Squiggly Lines for Errors?

To enable squiggly lines, follow these steps.

1. Install this recommended VS Code extension.

   [ESLint extension](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=dbaeumer.vscode-eslint): Applicable for linting HTML, CMP, and CSS files.

2. Run the `emit` command to generate a custom configuration file. The VS Code extension uses this file to show squiggly lines in HTML, CMP, and CSS files.

   ```
   npx @salesforce-ux/slds-linter emit
   ```
