Job Functions:
Work with VP of Technology to plan platform roadmap, prioritize capabilities, and scope efforts.

Maintain customizations and configuration changes in version-controlled environments/interfaces (e.g., GitHub, Sourcetree).

Work with Salesforce implementation partners to coordinate and share development activities.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and Administrator in Salesforce Service Cloud and Force.com with the following:
Excellent understanding of Salesforce MVC Architecture and its components such as Model, View and Controller.
Strong experience integrating Salesforce CRM with other internal/external applications using SOAP and REST based web services.
Capable in developing client specific solutions using visual force pages with Lightning components, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Controllers & Controller Extensions, Apex Components and Test Methods.
Experience in designing Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Customizing Page Layouts, Workflow Alerts, Pick Lists, Record Types, Process builder, Custom Tabs, Custom Buttons, Reports, Dashboards, and Email Generation according to application requirements.
Excellent in Administrative tasks like Creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Permission Sets, Workflows, Approvals, and Activities.

Experience in Batch Apex and Schedule Apex Development.
Experience in Salesforce Lightning creating apps.

The Solutions Architect & Developer (SA&D) is a core member of the Technology & Innovation team and serves as an ongoing key contributor to critical University initiatives. Working in a collaborative environment, the SA&D uses his/her technical expertise and professional skills to design, develop, and iterate innovative technology solutions for the University’s next-generation digital learning environment. 
  
In collaboration with the Solutions Architect & Web Director, the SA&D works with functional University business as well as academic areas to interpret processes, determine proper data needs, and ultimately architect solutions. The SA&D leads and participates in all aspects of design and development of data structures and associated administrative workflow and analytics resources. These structures are used for external reporting and internal analytics supporting strategic University initiatives and involved departments/offices.
