Is it possible to complete hide the "Setup" link that appears on the top right hand side ?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to completely hide the "Setup" link that appears on the top right hand side of every page ? Any pointers will be appreciated.

If you uncheck "View Setup and Configuration" on the profile, users assigned get very limited access to Setup - basically the ability to change personal information.

 

If that's not enough, you could use Visualforce pages (and set showheader="false") to provide an experience that has no Setup link, but this would require rebuilding a lot of pages.
