Remove Compulsory Account Field in Contact

Hello Guys,

 

Is there a way to remove the compulsory field Account name in Contact so that contact can be saved without relating it to an Account.

Please guys any workaround this?

Hi,

 

Follow the below steps:

  1. Login with administrator credential.
  2. Open detail page of any existing contact
  3. Click on Edit layout link.
  4. Click on setting icon of the “Account Name” field.
  5. Uncheck the Required check box.
  6. Click on ok button and save the layout.
