Finding a field ID

How do I pull out a field ID? 

 

E.g;  a checkbox will have something like  "a0A70000007O2Ap"  or something along those lines. How do I find these?

Do you want to pull out the id of an object? Or you want to get the id of a tag once the page is loaded?

Please explain something more about your needs.

Field IDs aren't accessible through the API... Big bummer.
