Chatter Messenger

Hello everyone!

 

Does anyone know If there is any free APP available to have a live chat in Salesforce? A real chat, not something like a Wall with posts....

Yes, I developed one for the Chatter Developer Challenge.I'll post the managed package link here when I am back in the office on Monday.

Err, the simple answer is no. I'm planning to maintain and add to the free version and, if there is demand, release a freemium version.

i see.  ok.  i liked the concept, but wasn't really in love with the styling, or the limit of 2 rooms.

Not to dismay d3Developer, but at the Force.com Developer event they just had in San Jose, there was clear direction that SFDC was going to be working on some sort of chat/im capability.   However, I have no more data / dates, etc.  Best, Steve

Well, I'm not sure if it discourages me. I'm happy to add a couple more chatrooms and basic functionality to the package until SFDC gets their version up and running.

 

But I probably won't modify the stylesheets. Sorry!

Really nice to hear about you interest for Chatter messenger app.  Here is the one i submit for the CDC. It is also available as part of code share.
