How to Display Privious and current Quote Number.

Hi All,

    I created Quote number field with autonumber datatype, its Showing " Q-0001 "

my requirement is display the Product Name - Created Date - Quote Number with auto increment  showing in Quote Number field

when i  create 2nd Quot,  Quote Number field  Displayed " Laptop - 26/06/2014 - Q-0002 " .

Today onwords its showing  " Laptop - 26/06/2014 - Q-0002 " This type and before quotes its showing " Q-0001 "  its showing one Column.

for Ex:
Quote number Field
Laptop - 26/06/2014 - Q-0002 ----  Today Created
Q-0001                                    -----  Yesterday created

pls help me how can I resolve this issue.

The value in the autoupdate field shows whatever format you select at the field definition.

Did you by any change update the format of the field ?
