here i created to different recod types for opportunity object.so when i want to create new opportunity record it first asks me record type selection .so how can i skip this page when creating new record?

You can tryalternative path
Your name(in header) >> My Settings >> Display and layout >> Set Default Record Types

When you have only a single record type assigned to yourself - the splash page won't appear with the selection drop down.
There are two ways you can achieve this.
Easy method:
1) Assign the profiles, acces to the default opportunity record type only.
Slightly complex:
1) Override the Opportunity "New" button. Set redirection to
https://mysforg13.my.salesforce.com/500/e?ent=Case&nooverride=1&RecordType=012W00000000SQB
When you override the "New" button make sure you select the follwing option: Skip Record Type Selection Page

Ans: just tickmark against the object by navigating to following :
set up --> my personal information -- > Record type selection --> check against the required object
but i didn't find this path

in you answer first one is to assign default record type.if we set defult also it is asking select opportunity record type when creating new record.here how to skip that is my question
