Challenge not yet complete... here's what's wrong: Could not find a customer object 'Offer__c'.

I know I have completed the challenge correctly but keep getting this error. Note that the challenge has you create a "custom" object, not a "customer" object as stated in the error. I would like my 500 pts, please. :-)

Hi Suzanne,

I was having a similar problem and found a previous post about the same issue. The poster, Vanessa, discovered that if she refreshed her page, made sure she selected the correct Trailhead Playground, then she passed the challenge and got the 500 pts. Here is a link to the post:

All the best,

I'm experiencing the exact same problem.  I tried the refresh suggestion but have the same results.

I got past that by closing tabs, deleting and refreshing, but now I get this:  The field 'Offer_Amount__c' either does not exists on the Offer__c object or it is not of type currency.  It is auto naming the field OfferAmount.  If I manually put in Offer_Amount__c it errors

Switching to Lightning and redoing the challenge worked! Thank you.

I had the same problem, but I was already working in Lightning.  I closed all the tabs / windows related to Trailhead and the TP, and then reopened.  That worked.
